山桜

本堂前の山桜（大島桜）の老木が
朝日に照り輝いています。
”If I am asked about the meaning of yamato-gokoro, I will answer it is the blossoms of yamazakura (mountain cherry trees) shining in the rising sun” (Norinaga MOTOORI).
